Neon Genesis Evangelion

  This is the greatest anime series ever to be created for many great reasons.
--Games--
  First of all, every single character in the entire series has a great 
  personality.  You really get into their characters and feel for them when they
  are down.  The story is a mystery, slowly told through 26 episodes, origionally
  shown on television in Japan, and three movies.  I have heard of an OAV, yet 
  I have never seen it in stores.  The voice acting is fantastic for most of the
  characters.  Asuka, one of the main characters, is exceptional, as is Shinji, 
--Anime--     
  the main character.  The general story is of a boy named Shinji who is forced
    to pilot large robots, called Evangelions, against strange alien invaders 
    called angels in the remains of a world destroyed in 2000 AD.  Shinji's 
    character is very lonely and sad.  He is not the type of person who would save
--Other Stuff--
  the world, yet he is forced into it by his father, who abandoned him a few
 years previously.  The end is like nothing I have ever seen before, yes, even
 
		stranger than Akira, if you have seen it.  If you love anime, you HAVE TO SEE	

         	THIS SERIES.  It is the best!
